No. 40 Coming of Age Day three-day holiday

Updated: February 15, 2015

(Published in the February 15, 2015 issue of Koho Inagi)

This year's three-day weekend in January was warm and calm, and various events were held without incident.
On Saturday the 10th, we held the Inagi Nagamine Sports Plaza opening ceremony.
Today's plan for this facility was finalized as a result of long discussions and discussions with local residents and experts to utilize the former Sakahama disposal site after its closure. The basic design and implementation design will be completed in FY2013, the soccer field, futsal field, and parking lot will be completed in FY2013, and the administration building, bleachers, and lawn area at the bottom of the site will be completed in FY2013 and beyond. .
On the day, in addition to the presidents of the Sakahama Neighborhood Association and Nagamine Union, the presidents of sports-related organizations such as the Inagi City Sports Association, the Soccer Federation, and the Rugby Union, Tokyo Verdy players and coaches also participated, and an opening game was played by fifth and sixth grade elementary school students. was carried out.
When I was a member of the youth soccer team, it was a dream that would never come true to be able to practice and play games on grass. We hope that as many players as possible will grow up from this wonderful artificial turf pitch.
On the 12th, a public holiday, we held our annual coming-of-age ceremony. Until now, the city had rented the Komazawa Gakuen Memorial Auditorium to hold the ceremony, but a new hall was completed in the Yomiuriland amusement park last year, so the venue was relocated this year.
This ``Nippon TV Ranran Hall'' is a unique facility, with a pool in front of the stage where sea lion shows are held, and when not in use, the hall can accommodate approximately 1,000 people when the lid with seats is closed from above.
I'm not competing with the fact that Urayasu City holds a coming-of-age ceremony at a certain amusement park, but I think an amusement park setting would be more fun than ever for nostalgic classmates to reunite with their mentors and celebrate each other. I think it has become something.
We would like to thank Yomiuri Land Co., Ltd. for their special consideration from the preparation and adjustment stage. We would also like to thank the many businesses in the city for providing sponsored items for the raffle. We would like to once again express our gratitude to all the new adults on the executive committee who made steady preparations such as soliciting these sponsorships.
This year as well, Inagi City's coming-of-age ceremony ended peacefully and without incident. We would also like to express our gratitude to Inagi's organizations related to the healthy development of young people who are nurturing these wonderful young people.
It was a three-day weekend where I felt the bright smiles of the new adults and decided to work together with the citizens again this year to create a thriving Inagi. Also thank you very much this year.
