QuestionI was previously enrolled in the National Health Insurance, but I received a Health Insurance Card from my workplace. Does my eligibility for the National Health Insurance automatically end?

Response

Your eligibility will not be automatically terminated, so you must complete the procedure for loss of eligibility for National Health Insurance at City Hall or the Branch Office (Hirao, Wakabadai) within 14 days after obtaining eligibility for social insurance.

Items Required for Procedures

  • Social Insurance Insured Person Certificate (Copy Allowed)
  • National Health Insurance Insured Person Certificate (Original)
  • Identification documents (driver's license, passport, My Number Card, etc.)
