The city hall was built in 1981, marking the 10th anniversary of the city's establishment, as a base to protect citizens' lives and as a central facility for City Administration operations.

Note: Smoking is prohibited on the City Hall premises (including buildings and parking lots) from April 1, 2019. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor smoking areas.
