QuestionPlease tell me about the payment of the National Health Insurance Tax.

The National Health Insurance Tax is calculated based on the total income amount from the previous year, and a notification of the assessment decision will be sent to the head of the household every July. (If you have joined or withdrawn during the fiscal year, the timing of the notification may vary.)
If you wish to pay by direct debit, please apply using the direct debit application form. The direct debit application form is available at Inagi City Hall and Branch Offices.
If you wish to pay with a payment slip, it is enclosed with the notification of the assessment decision, so please make your payment at a financial institution, Japan Post Bank, the window of the financial institution branch office within City Hall, or a convenience store by the deadline.
