QuestionI was injured at work. Can I use my Health Insurance Card?

Response

Injuries that occur during work or on the way to work are covered by Workers' Compensation Insurance. Therefore, the Health Insurance Card cannot be used. Workers' Compensation Insurance applies to all individuals who are employed and receive wages, including full-time employees, part-time workers, and temporary staff.
Please note that if you use the Health Insurance Card in cases recognized as work-related injuries, you will be required to repay the full amount of the insurance benefits.

In the following cases, you cannot use the Health Insurance Card.

  • I fell and got injured while working part-time.
  • Injured while at work or commuting.
