Health checkups, comprehensive medical examinations, vaccinations, orthodontics, normal pregnancy and childbirth, mild body odor and skin blemishes, cosmetic surgery, and other conditions not considered illnesses, as well as work-related illnesses and injuries covered by workers' compensation insurance, cannot use the Health Insurance Card. Additionally, the Health Insurance Card cannot be used for illnesses or injuries resulting from criminal acts, intentional accidents, fights, or intoxication.
Furthermore, if you are using the Health Insurance Card for injuries sustained from a third party (the other party) such as in a traffic accident, please be sure to contact the Insurance and Pension Division at City Hall in advance.
