It can be used if deemed necessary by a physician for medical reasons. It is not covered by insurance if received simply for fatigue recovery or relaxation. The main recognized injuries, illnesses, and symptoms are as follows.

• Acupuncture and Moxibustion... Neuralgia, Frozen Shoulder, Low Back Pain, Rheumatism, Cervical Brachial Syndrome, Aftereffects of Cervical Sprain
• Massage... Paralysis (lack of sensation), joint contracture (joints are difficult to move or do not move)
