Since August 2018, there have been numerous consultations at Consumer Affairs Centers across the country regarding business operators claiming that "monthly income of 10,000 yen can become 1.8 million yen!" and other similar statements, suggesting that high income can be earned in a short period through side jobs using smartphones or computers.
A joint investigation conducted by the Consumer Affairs Agency, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and Shimane Prefecture confirmed acts that may unjustly harm consumer interests (false and exaggerated advertising, misleading representations) in transactions with Assist Corporation. Therefore, based on the provisions of Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act (Act No. 50 of 2009), we are publishing information that contributes to the prevention of consumer harm or its expansion today, and we urge consumers to be cautious.
