The Consumer Affairs Agency has provided information to help prevent the occurrence or expansion of consumer damage, based on the provisions of Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act (Law No. 50 of 2009). We urge consumers to be cautious.

  • Notice regarding business operators that impersonate major telecommunications companies and use automated voice systems or international phone numbers to issue fictitious usage fee charges.
  • Notice regarding side job support business operators that allow high-cost borrowing from consumer finance companies using remote control applications
  • Notice regarding fraudulent sites claiming to sell popular brand women's clothing and other items
  • Notice regarding toilet clog repair services that display low fees on their website but actually charge high fees.
  • Notice regarding Business Operators who solicit dieters with claims such as 'improve your constitution all at once, no additional costs required' and sell various weight loss teas and products.
  • Notice regarding fake websites disguised as official mail-order sites for popular interior furniture and miscellaneous goods
  • Notice regarding counterfeit water purification cartridges sold on the transaction digital platform
  • Notice regarding business operators who sell manuals for side jobs claiming things like "Easily earn 1 million yen a month with your smartphone" and "You earn rewards for every template message sent," and who require contracts for expensive support plans to become agents for those wishing to live stream.
  • Notice regarding business operators causing delays in delivery of class T-shirts and other items ordered for use at high school events.
  • Accidents continue to occur, especially at a specific trampoline park! Even if you are not warned by the facility, please refrain from dangerous activities such as flips.
  • A warning regarding business operators who entice consumers by claiming they can earn money through simple tasks that take about 10 minutes a day, leading them to purchase a side job guidebook, and subsequently contract expensive support plans through phone solicitation.
  • Notice regarding fake websites disguised as official online sales sites for popular outdoor products
  • Notice regarding business operators that provide unwanted items and bulky waste collection services with advertisements or displays on their website such as "Affordable Flat Rate Pack. The flat rate fee includes everything."
  • Notice regarding business operators who have induced consumers to purchase "manuals" for "side jobs" with claims such as "anyone can earn tens of thousands of yen per day" just by doing simple tasks.
  • Notice regarding fake websites disguised as official online sales sites of popular brands
  • Notice regarding the transaction of services related to unlocking and repairing keys, referred to as 'Key Ranger', 'Key Rescue', 'Key Dispatch 24-Hour Center', 'Key 110 24-Hour', 'Key Lucky Seven', 'Key 24-Hour Ambulance', 'Key 110', and 'Key 110 Ambulance'.
  • Notice regarding the sale of falsely advertised products claiming to contain cashmere by business operators on shopping mall sites operated by digital platform business operators
  • A warning regarding business operators who introduce a side business that is profitable with just a simple task of pasting photos, making consumers purchase text materials for around 7,000 yen, and then significantly charging them high amounts of money through telephone solicitation.
  • Alert regarding Business Operators who impersonate public institutions such as the Consumer Affairs Agency and solicit payments under the pretense of providing fictitious "settlement funds".
  • Notice regarding the sale of counterfeit health foods on flea market sites
  • Notice regarding door-to-door sales of services referred to as "CCP System" or "SHK Business" conducted under the name of Pixel & Press Inc.
  • Alert regarding fake online shopping sites that have stolen logos of famous brands
  • Notice Regarding False and Exaggerated Affiliate Advertisements
  • Notice regarding Business Operators who use the "Microsoft" logo to gain trust and extort large sums of money under the pretext of support fees for computer security measures.

  • Alert regarding fake mail-order sites that pretend to sell popular home video game consoles.
  • Notice regarding the transaction of services that allow the use of a member-only site that publishes welfare services provided by RS Corporation.
  • Alert regarding fake websites that claim to be real online shopping sites
  • Alert regarding two business operators that claim to offer a business that earns 100,000 yen every month, requiring substantial payments.
