Notice regarding Business Operators impersonating "BlackRock Japan Co., Ltd." soliciting the purchase of Uzbek currency, som, at an exchange rate of approximately 2,900 times.
On November 25, 2015, a warning regarding three business operators soliciting the purchase of the Uzbek currency, the sum (hereinafter referred to as "sum"), was issued (hereinafter referred to as "previous warning").
Recently, there was information that a business operator impersonating BlackRock Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "genuine BlackRock"), a real asset management company, is using solicitation materials similar to those of the previous warning (hereinafter referred to as "fake BlackRock").
The Consumer Affairs Agency has provided information indicating that there are acts that may unjustly harm consumers' interests in transactions with fake BlackRock, based on the provisions of Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act (Act No. 50 of 2009). Therefore, in order to prevent the occurrence or expansion of consumer damage, we inform consumers.
