Since January 2017, there have been consultations at various Consumer Affairs Centers regarding business operators who lure consumers on websites with phrases like, "Your photos can turn into money right now!" and "You can earn just by taking pictures," charging consumers high fees for information products and automated customer acquisition tools.
The Consumer Affairs Agency has provided information based on Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act (Act No. 50 of 2009) regarding transactions with "Idea Corporation," indicating that there may be acts that unjustly harm consumers' interests (such as providing false information). Therefore, to prevent the occurrence or expansion of consumer damage, we inform all consumers.
