1 22nd About Helmets for Junior High School Students The recent Noto Peninsula earthquake is not just someone else's problem for us, but there are even no disaster prevention helmets prepared at Inagi City Junior High Schools. I hope helmets are always available in each classroom and specialized classrooms. Regarding the provision of disaster prevention helmets and other equipment by the city, we believe it is difficult due to issues related to helmet management, hygiene, and the significant costs involved.
In elementary schools, families have been asked to prepare disaster prevention hoods until the fiscal year 2023, but starting from the fiscal year 2024, we have instructed each elementary school to inform families that they can choose between helmets or disaster prevention hoods at their discretion. Similarly, in junior high schools, we have instructed each school to allow families to use the disaster prevention hoods or helmets that were used in elementary school based on their judgment.

1 16th Community Development in the Oshitate Area There are not enough stores such as supermarkets and drugstores in the Oshitate area. It does not seem that commercial land use is progressing. I hope that more commercial facilities will be added to create a more livable environment. Regarding the Oshitate area, the city has been guiding land use through urban planning by designating land use zones such as "quasi-industrial zones" and "second-class medium and high-rise residential zones" to allow for the establishment of commercial facilities such as stores, in addition to factories and residences along the Ginkgo tree-lined street.
Additionally, as part of the support for starting businesses within the city, we are also facilitating loans for the opening of commercial facilities to landowners and others to promote vibrant land use.
The location of commercial facilities will be determined by business operators through marketing research, but the city will continue to work with relevant departments within the city hall to revitalize the local economy and make the Oshitate area a more livable environment.

2 18th About the Sidewalks in Sakahama I always ride my bicycle on the sidewalk from Komazawa Intersection towards Wakabadai, but I often feel it is dangerous. Why has it been like that for so many years? Regarding the improvement of the Tsurukawa Road from the Komazawa Gakuen Entrance towards Wakabadai, which we have received opinions about, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, as the road administrator, is advancing the development. Currently, they are acquiring the necessary land for the road widening, and we have been informed that the project period is planned until fiscal year 11 of the Reiwa era.
The city has been requesting the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for the early completion of the Tsurukawa Road improvement, and we will continue to make these requests in the future.

1 4th Proposal Form for City Administration Regarding the proposal form for City Administration, there are too few fields to fill out on a postcard, and it cannot be completed. Also, I think there are people who are not good with email. Since it may involve privacy concerns, I would like it to be changed to a sealed letter. Thank you for your many suggestions to the City Administration. While there are no plans to change the postcard for suggestions to the City Administration to a sealed letter, please understand that if you submit it in a format that is easy for you to write, it will be accepted as a suggestion to the City Administration, whether it is in a sealed letter or another format.
Additionally, by using the email form, you can submit many suggestions at once, but if you are not comfortable with that, we also accept suggestions via fax and other means, so please feel free to use those options.
Please note that suggestions to the City Administration are for proposals regarding policies for the entire city and are not a point of contact for privacy-related issues. For individual matters, please consult the relevant department.

2 16th About Omaru Funeral Hall (Freezer) Regarding the black building at Omaru, there was an explanation about the candidate site at a previous briefing, but what has happened regarding the relocation since then? Regarding the facility you inquired about, we have already obtained consent from the rights holders for the relocation. We plan to start construction of the building in January at the location explained during the briefing, and after the construction is completed, we will proceed with the move and the demolition of the existing building. 3 16th How to Allocate the Budget Isn't the budget being allocated preferentially only to places of interest to the Mayor of Inagi City, such as Tokyo Verdy and Gundam at Inagi-Naganuma Station? Regarding the budget, we are allocating it in a way that allows us to flexibly respond to changes in the socio-economic situation and citizen needs while maintaining the necessary level of administrative services within a limited budget, and steadily advancing urban infrastructure development.
For the fiscal year 2023, we will continue to implement measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, protect the lives and livelihoods of citizens, and proactively address administrative issues arising from changes in the social environment such as living with COVID-19, rising prices, and a decarbonized society. We will advance various initiatives aimed at realizing the future urban vision set forth in the Fifth Long-Term Comprehensive Plan of Inagi City, with a budget that prioritizes the safety of citizens and systematically addresses disaster prevention and mitigation measures.
As for the budget for Tokyo Verdy and the Gundam at Inagi-Naganuma Station, which you have pointed out, we are appropriately allocating it as a budget that contributes to regional revitalization and the cultivation of civic pride through tourism and sports. Furthermore, a significant portion of the funding for these projects is covered by subsidies from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and donations from the original creators.
The environment surrounding municipal finances remains challenging due to the impact of changes in social conditions in the post-COVID era, the situation in Ukraine, rising prices, fluctuations in the financial capital markets, and the increase in social security-related expenses. However, we will continue to strive for the efficiency of administration and the prioritization of administrative projects, maintain sound fiscal management, and work towards further improving citizen services, so we appreciate your understanding.

4 18th About the Art Museum I hope a museum will be built in Inagi City. It would be nice if it could be a small one, even if it's just a corner of Inagi City Central Park. The Inagi City Board of Education promotes the advancement of arts and culture through support for activities of the Inagi City Arts and Culture Association, which is composed of volunteer artists and citizen cultural activity groups. We encourage the use of existing facilities such as the Shiroyama Experience Study Institute, the lobby on the first floor of City Hall, and i Plaza for exhibitions and presentations of artistic works, as well as opportunities such as the Citizen Cultural Festival, Arts Festival, and festivals held by community centers and cultural facilities.
While there are currently no plans to establish a new art museum, we are disseminating information about exhibitions and events primarily through the Lifelong Learning newsletter "Hiroba," which is published on the 15th of each month. We hope you will take advantage of these opportunities.
