Face Recognition My Number Card (My Number Card without a PIN)

This My Number Card eliminates the need to set a PIN for those who are concerned about setting and managing their PIN, and limits the identity verification method to facial recognition by device or visual confirmation of the face.

Features

• There are no changes in appearance from the previous My Number Card, but to distinguish it in medical institutions, the card will have "facial recognition" written in the additional notes section.
• A signature electronic certificate equivalent to a registered seal has an effect that cannot be substituted by facial recognition or visual inspection for entering a PIN (6 to 16 digits), so it is not included.

Procedure

Those who do not have a My Number Card

Please let us know when you receive your My Number Card at the counter.
Also, if you apply for your My Number Card at the counter and receive the card by mail, please let us know at the time of application.

Those who have a My Number Card

At the counter, please proceed with the procedure to switch your current My Number Card to a facial recognition My Number Card.
Notes Please complete the registration for the use of the Health Insurance Card (registration for the use of My Number Health Insurance Card) in advance before proceeding with the procedure. The same applies when registering a public money receiving account.
