Regarding the reset of the PIN for the My Number Card (Individual Number Card)
If you forget your PIN or if your PIN is locked, the following procedures are required at City Hall or the Branch Office.
Additionally, the PIN for the signature electronic certificate (6 to 16 alphanumeric characters) can only be processed at convenience stores, etc.

Application for Legal Representative (for those under 15 years old and adult wards)
In addition to the above, the following documents are required.
- Identification documents of the agent A2 points or A1 points + B1 points (see below for "List of Identification Documents")
- If the person is under 15 years old, a copy of the family register (not required if the person and their legal representative are in the same household and the person's registered domicile is within Inagi City) is not required.

Regarding the Reset of the PIN for the Electronic Signature Certificate
You can reset the PIN for the signature electronic certificate (6 to 16 alphanumeric characters) at convenience stores, etc.
Note: A 4-digit PIN cannot be initialized at convenience stores, etc. Procedures at City Hall or Branch Office are required.
The steps are as follows.
- Download the dedicated app for your smartphone (for iPhone / for Android) and take a photo of the My Number Card surface information.
- Hold the My Number Card up to your smartphone to read the IC chip. At this time, enter the user electronic certificate PIN (4-digit number).
- Complete the preparation in advance by taking a photo of your My Number Card and matching it with your face using your smartphone.
- After completing the necessary preparations, within 24 hours, go to a convenience store or similar location, hold your My Number Card up to the kiosk terminal in the store, and enter the PIN for user electronic certification.
- Resetting the PIN for the new signature electronic certificate.

If you wish to change the PIN for your My Number Card, the following procedures are required at City Hall or a Branch Office. Additionally, it is also possible to use the public personal authentication service to complete the procedures from your home computer, etc.
