QuestionEven if I join until the mandatory enrollment period of 60 years old, I cannot receive the old-age basic Pension due to insufficient years. What should I do?

Response

Those who do not meet the qualification period for benefits (generally, a contribution period of 10 years or more) or those who want to increase their pension amount can voluntarily join from age 60 to 65.
Additionally, those born before April 1, 1965, who do not meet the period even if they voluntarily join until age 65, can exceptionally join until they meet the period to receive the pension by age 70.
Note: This applies only to those who are not enrolled in the Employees' Pension at the time of application.
