The procedures for joining and leaving are as follows.

Enrollment Procedures

1. Foreign residents aged 20 to under 60 should complete the procedures at the Citizen Affairs Division of Inagi City Hall, and then proceed to the Insurance and Pension Division to enroll.
2. The enrollment procedure for a dependent spouse of a welfare pension member is done through the spouse's workplace, so please consult with your workplace.
   If you are no longer a dependent spouse, please go to City Hall to change your status from Category 3 insured person to Category 1 insured person. For the status change procedure, you will need identification documents (My Number Card, residence card, etc.) and either the basic pension number notification or pension book, as well as a certificate of loss of qualification.
3. If you lose your eligibility for the Employees' Pension, you need to submit an application for the National Pension. Please bring identification documents (My Number Card, residence card, etc.) and either the basic pension number notification or pension book, as well as documents that indicate the date of loss of eligibility (such as a separation notice, certificate of loss of eligibility, or certificate of employment termination).

Procedure for Loss of Qualification

After joining the National Pension, if you start working for a company or similar, please submit the Notification along with your Basic Pension Number Notification or Pension Handbook to the company.
