I have been enrolled in the National Health Insurance until now, but will I now have to pay insurance premiums for both the National Health Insurance and the Long-Term Care Insurance for the Elderly?
Updated: September 2nd, 2013
After enrolling in medical care for the latter-stage elderly, the National Health Insurance tax will not be charged.
However, if a family member is a member of the National Health Insurance, the insurance tax for the National Health Insurance will be billed to the head of the household even if the head of the household is enrolled in medical care for the elderly.
