There are the following methods for paying the Municipal Taxes (Municipal Resident Tax, Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax, Property Tax, City Planning Tax, Light Vehicle Tax (Type Tax), Corporate Municipal Tax) and the National Health Insurance Tax in Inagi City.

Direct Debit

By applying in advance, you can automatically transfer payments from your designated bank account on each due date. There is no worry about forgetting to pay, receiving reminders or late fees, or missing out on refund claims. Since there is no need to carry cash, you can pay your taxes safely and securely.

Note: Please be aware that payments for past years, overdue amounts, Municipal Resident Tax (special collection), and Corporate Municipal Tax cannot be made via direct debit.

Counter

This is a method to make a payment by bringing the payment slip to the designated payment location. Please refer to the table below for the payment locations.
Additionally, payments can be made at designated convenience stores nationwide 24 hours a day (may vary by store), so please take advantage of this option.

    Mizuho Bank, Resona Bank, Saitama Resona Bank, Kiraboshi Bank, Yokohama Bank, Yamanashi Chuo Bank, Sawayaka Shinkin Bank, Jonan Shinkin Bank, Tama Shinkin Bank, Chuo Labor Bank, Tokyo South Agricultural Cooperative, Various Agricultural Cooperatives in Tokyo (excluding islands)
  2. Japan Post Bank
    Japan Post Bank and post offices located in Tokyo, Yamanashi Prefecture, and various prefectures in the Kanto region
  3. Financial institutions nationwide that support the unified QR code for local taxes, including Japan Post Bank and post offices
    (Those with the unified QR code for local taxes (eL-QR) printed on the payment slip)
  4. Convenience Stores
    Kurashi House, Three Eight, Seikatsu Saika, Seven-Eleven, Daily Yamazaki, FamilyMart, Poplar, Mini Stop, Yamazaki Daily Store, Lawson, MMK Installed Stores
  5. Inagi City Hall (Mizuho Bank City Hall Branch)
  6. Hirao Branch Office, Wakabadai Branch Office
  • Note 1: Municipal and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax (special collection) and corporate municipal resident tax cannot be paid at convenience stores.
  • Note 2: Among the payment slips, those with an amount exceeding 300,000 yen, those without a barcode on the front, those that cannot be read by a barcode scanner, and those that have passed the handling deadline cannot be paid at convenience stores.
  • Note 3: When making a payment at the convenience store, no recalculation of late fees will be performed. If payment is made after the due date, a separate claim for late fees may be made.
  • Note 4: At Inagi City Hall, in principle, in addition to weekdays, payments can also be made at the Collection Division on the holiday opening days, which are the second Sunday and the fourth Saturday of every month.

Electronic Payment via Unified Local Tax QR Code (eL-QR)

You can make the electronic payment below using the local tax unified QR code (eL-QR) printed on the payment slip.

  • Credit Card Payment
  • Electronic Money Payment (Pay App, etc.) (Note 1)
  • Internet Banking Payment
  • Direct Payment
  • Pay-easy ATM Payment

  • Note: Payment of local taxes using electronic money can be made by directly scanning the unified QR code for local taxes from the corresponding app.
  • NotesMunicipal Resident Tax (Ordinary Collection), Property Tax, City Planning Tax, Light Vehicle Tax (Type Division), National Health Insurance Tax are applicable.
  • Note: The fees for credit card payments will be borne by the user.
  • Note: If payment is made via QR code, a receipt will not be issued.
  • Note: After payment, it takes a certain period for the city to confirm the payment, so if you need a tax payment certificate immediately, please make the payment at a financial institution or convenience store and present the receipt to the Revenue Division.
  • Note: Payment via smartphone payment apps and mobile register payments using the payment slip barcode has ended as of the end of March 2023.

Common Local Tax Payment System (eLTAX)

This is a method to pay local taxes using the Common Tax Payment System (eLTAX) via the internet from a computer.
