What is the Pay-easy Account Transfer Reception Service?

This service allows you to easily apply for account transfer at the City Hall, Hirao Branch Office, and Wakabadai Branch Office by reading your cash card on a dedicated device and entering your PIN.

  • Note 1: The application deadline for the dedicated postcard (Direct Debit Request Form) is about 50 days before the transfer date, while for the Pay-easy Direct Debit Reception Service, the application deadline is about 20 days before the transfer date.
  • Note 2: There are financial institutions that do not handle the Pay-easy account transfer reception service. For more details, please see the "Financial Institutions Handling Account Transfers" below.

Eligible Applicants

  • Taxpayer
  • Household members (limited to residents of the city)

NoteIt is essential that the person applying (the taxpayer or a member of the same household) is the account holder themselves. (Applications cannot be made with a cash card that is not in the applicant's name.)

How to Apply

  1. Please visit the Inagi City Hall (Collection Division, for applications only for National Health Insurance Tax), Hirao Branch Office, or Wakabadai Branch Office.
  2. We will verify your identity with your driver's license or other identification.
  3. Please fill in your name and other details on the direct debit application form (available at each service counter).
  4. Please insert your cash card into the dedicated terminal and enter your PIN.
  5. I will provide you with a copy of the application form.

By following the above procedures, your application will be completed on the spot.

Application Time

City Hall open days (weekdays) are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Holiday open days (in principle, the second Sunday and fourth Saturday of each month) are from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Note: Holiday openings are only at City Hall.

Items to Bring

The two items you need to bring when applying are as follows.

1 Identification Documents

Documents such as driver's licenses (For more details, please see the page on 'Identity Verification at the Collection Division.')

2 Cash Card

Please bring your cash card from a financial institution that handles Pay-easy account transfers (for details, please see the "Financial Institutions Handling Account Transfers" below).
Also, you will need to enter your PIN when applying.
Note: Some items, such as biometric authentication cash cards, may not be accepted.

Application Deadline / Transfer Date

The application deadline and transfer dates for direct debit are as shown in the table below.
However, even if you apply within the deadline, there may be cases where the direct debit cannot start from your desired date due to incomplete information, so we strongly recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible.

Note 1: Please be aware that past due amounts, delinquent amounts, Municipal and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax (special collection), and Corporate Municipal Resident Tax cannot be paid via direct debit.

Note 2: If the application deadline for Pay-easy is not on a City Hall business day, the last business day before will be the application deadline.

Note 3: There is also an option for "full-term advance payment via bank transfer" to transfer the tax amount for one year in a lump sum. For more details, please contact the Collection Division.

Financial Institutions Handling Direct Debit

The financial institutions that handle the account transfer for Municipal Tax in Inagi City are as follows.
Financial institutions marked as "Pay-easy Account Transfer Acceptance" as "Yes" handle Pay-easy account transfers.
Financial institutions marked as "Pay-easy Account Transfer Acceptance" as "No" can accept applications via a dedicated postcard (account transfer application form) (for details, please see the "Account Transfer" page.), but applications via the Pay-easy account transfer acceptance service cannot be accepted, so please understand.

Note: In principle, only regular accounts (Yucho Bank refers to regular savings accounts) will be supported. However, for Mizuho Bank and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, current accounts can also be supported.

Notes

  • No notification of completion of procedures or transfers will be provided, so please check using your passbook or other means.
  • Regarding the account transfer for light vehicle tax (type-based), all vehicles owned will be subject to it. Please note that vehicle selection is not possible.
