From April 2023, a new "Unified Local Tax QR Code (eL-QR)" will be printed on the payment slips issued.

As a result, there are the following changes to the payment of Municipal Tax.

You will be able to pay Municipal Tax at financial institutions that support the unified QR code for local taxes nationwide.

The payment slip printed with the "Unified Local Tax QR Code (eL-QR)" can be paid at financial institutions other than those listed on the back of the payment slip for handling public funds in Inagi City, as well as at financial institutions nationwide that support the "Unified Local Tax QR Code" (including Japan Post Bank and post offices).

Note: For details regarding the corresponding financial institutions, please contact the financial institution or check the frequently asked questions on the "Local Tax Payment Site".

The payment methods for Municipal Tax will be expanded.

By using the newly established "Local Tax Payment Site" by the Local Tax Joint Organization, the following payment methods will be available.

  • Credit Card Payment
  • Electronic Money Payment (Pay App Payment, etc.)
  • Internet Banking Payment
  • Direct Payment
  • Pay-easy ATM Payment

For details on how to use, please check the "Local Tax Payment Site" (Operated by: Local Tax Joint Organization).

  • Note: It will be available for use with payment slips issued after April 2023.
  • Note: The fees for credit card payments will be borne by the user.
  • Note: There may be changes or additions to the payment methods.
  • Note: Payment via smartphone payment apps and mobile register payments using the payment slip barcode has ended as of the end of March 2023.
  • Note: If payment is made via QR code, a receipt will not be issued.
  • Note: After payment, it takes a certain period for the city to confirm the payment, so if you need a tax payment certificate immediately, please make the payment at a financial institution or convenience store and present the receipt to the Revenue Division.

  • Municipal and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax (Ordinary Collection)
  • Property Tax・City Planning Tax
  • Light Vehicle Tax (Type Classification)
  • National Health Insurance Tax
