There are various types of nursing homes, each with different characteristics and target populations.

Special Nursing Home for the Elderly

This is for individuals who have received long-term care certification (generally from care level 3 to care level 5) and find it difficult to live at home (those requiring support cannot be admitted). Please consult the facility directly regarding the application process.
Note: For those with care levels 1 and 2, admission is only possible in special circumstances.

Lightly Priced Elderly Home

Individuals aged 60 and over who have difficulty living at home due to family circumstances or housing conditions, or those with low income and no relatives, are eligible. Please consult the facility directly for application procedures.

Paid Elderly Care Home

It is established and operated primarily by the private sector. For application procedures, please consult the facility directly.

Nursing Home for the Elderly

Individuals who find it difficult to live at home due to physical or mental reasons, or those who are struggling with housing and find it difficult to live at home for such reasons, will be eligible if it is determined that they cannot utilize private housing or facilities through other means. The consultation desk is the Senior Welfare Division at City Hall.
