BCG Group Vaccination

The city is conducting group vaccinations for BCG to prevent tuberculosis.

Eligible Individuals

The vaccination period is from 5 to 8 months of age until reaching 1 year old (this is the standard vaccination period).

Implementation Location, Reception Hours, Items to Bring

• Implementation Location: Inagi City Health Center
• Reception hours: 10 AM to 11 AM (Please be punctual)
• Items: Maternal and Child Health Handbook, BCG vaccination questionnaire, bath towel (for laying down the child)

• Note: No prior reservation required
• Note: You cannot receive the vaccination without the Maternal and Child Health Handbook. Please be sure to bring it with you.

Precautions When Receiving Vaccination

• During group vaccinations, there will be a large concentration of visitors, so please refrain from coming by car. Please understand that you will not be able to park if the lot is full. Whenever possible, please come by foot or use public transportation.
• Please be sure to have a Parent or Guardian accompany you and bring the Maternal and Child Health Handbook and the health examination form.
• If you are moving in or have not received vaccinations, please contact the Health Center.
• After birth, for children who are receiving outpatient treatment for illnesses or have been advised by their doctor to refrain from vaccinations, please confirm with your primary care physician whether it is okay to receive vaccinations (live vaccines) just to be safe (some illnesses or treatments may require a waiting period).
• Please read the booklet "Vaccination and Children's Health" and understand the vaccinations you will receive before proceeding.
