  1. The interval between receiving a different type of vaccination after receiving live vaccines such as measles, rubella combined (MR), measles, rubella, or BCG is at least 27 days. Additionally, the interval between receiving a different type of vaccination after receiving inactivated vaccines such as Hib infection, pediatric pneumococcal infection, quadrivalent, trivalent, polio, or Japanese encephalitis is at least 6 days.
  2. Simultaneous vaccination of two or more types of vaccinations for the same recipient (except when using mixed vaccines) can be performed if deemed particularly necessary by a physician. Please ensure to adhere to the intervals specified for each vaccine when administering multiple doses of the same type of vaccine.

The interval between receiving a different type of vaccination from the day you received the vaccination should remain at least 27 days for live vaccines administered by injection, while there will be no restrictions for other combinations.

Types of Live Vaccines

  • MR
  • Measles
  • Rubella
  • BCG
  • Chickenpox

Vaccines other than live vaccines

  • Oral Live Vaccine (Rotavirus Vaccine)
  • Inactivated vaccines (Hib vaccine, pediatric pneumococcal vaccine, etc.)

Notes

  • In particular, simultaneous vaccination can be performed if approved by a physician. (As currently practiced)
  • If you are receiving multiple doses of the same type of vaccine, please adhere to the specified intervals for each vaccine. (As currently stated)
  • Even if you receive another vaccine within 27 days of receiving a vaccine before October 1, as long as the date of the new vaccine is after October 1, new rules will apply, and you can receive the vaccine.
