(For those who have been certified as requiring care or support) I would like to purchase welfare equipment for bathing and toileting. What should I do?

For welfare equipment used for bathing and toileting that is not compatible with welfare equipment lending due to hygiene management, etc., a portion of the purchase cost will be refunded as "welfare equipment purchase cost."

Target audience

Those who are insured by long-term care insurance in Inagi City and who are living at home.

Types of assistive devices covered by long-term care insurance

Seated toilet seat (limited to those that fall under any of 1 to 4)

  1. Items that can be placed on top of a Japanese-style toilet and converted to a seat type (including those that compensate for the height when converting to a seat type)
  2. Placed on top of a Western-style toilet to compensate for the height
  3. An electric or spring-type toilet that has a function to assist when standing up from the toilet seat.
  4. Portable toilet (consisting of a toilet seat, bucket, etc., and limited to those that can be used in the room)

Replaceable Parts for Automated Waste Disposal Equipment

Of the replaceable parts (receiver, tube, tank, etc.) of the automatic excretion disposal system, those that serve as a path for urine and feces and can be easily replaced by the subject or their caregiver. (Excludes special pads, detergents, and related products such as special pants and special sheets.)

Bathing aids (items intended to assist in maintaining a sitting position or getting in and out of the bathtub when bathing, limited to those that fall under any of 1 to 7)

1 Bathing chair A chair with a seat height of approximately 35 centimeters or more, or a chair with a reclining function.
2 Bathtub handrail A handrail that can be fixed by pinching the edge of the bathtub.
3 Bathtub chair A chair that can be placed in the bathtub.
4 Bathing stand A stand that can be hung on the edge of the bathtub to facilitate getting in and out of the bathtub. (Stepping stools are excluded.)
5 Bathroom slats These can be placed in bathrooms to eliminate unevenness on the bathroom floor.
6 Bathtub drainboard Placed in the bathtub to supplement the height of the bottom of the bathtub.
7 Bathing assistance belt A belt that is wrapped directly around the subject's body and used to facilitate assistance in getting in and out of the bathtub.

Those that can be easily moved by pneumatic or folding type, etc., and do not involve construction work for water intake or drainage.

The sling part of a mobile lift

Conformable to the body and connectable to a transport lift.

Excretion prediction support equipment

The device is worn by the user at all times to detect the condition in the bladder and to estimate the urge to urinate. What to notify. (Excludes items that are consumed each time a special gel is installed and related products such as special sheets.)

Payment limit standard amount

The payment limit standard amount is 100,000 yen as the upper limit within the same fiscal year (from April 1 to March 31 of the following year) (the date of purchase is the standard date). If it is within the range of 100,000 yen, you can use it in several times, but you cannot apply for payment of more than one item in the same fiscal year.
However, if there are special circumstances such as the following cases, it may be paid again.
(1) In the event of damage (limited to damage or stains within the range of normal/years elapsed based on physical condition and usage environment).
(2) different uses and functions;
(3) When the level of need for nursing care has increased significantly, and the assistive device is no longer useful.
