1 1 day About City Parks I go to parks in the city, such as Yoshikata Park, but they are overgrown with weeds and the playground equipment is full of spider webs and is so dirty that I can't let my children touch it. I would like the parks to be improved a bit more and new parks to be built. The maintenance of the city's parks is carried out by the Inagi Green Wellness Foundation, the designated manager.
Regarding the grass cutting you mentioned, we carry it out two to four times a year, determining the timing based on the characteristics of each park. However, due to the extreme heat in recent years, weeds have been growing quickly and we are having difficulty removing them.
In addition to carrying out regular cleaning, we also patrol the park on a daily basis in an effort to ensure proper maintenance of the park.
Regarding Yoshikata Park, we are currently working on developing it as the city's first inclusive park, with its opening in fiscal year 2027.
We will continue to work hard to maintain and improve the park so that citizens can relax and enjoy themselves.

2 1 day Regarding the poor transport access to Wakabadai Station There are few buses from Kamiyato Ohashi Minami to Wakabadai Station, which is causing problems for shopping and commuting, so I would like some kind of solution. There is no i-bus, so it is a problem. The "Kamiyato Ohashi Minami" bus stop, which was requested this time, is served by 45 Odakyu Bus and Keio Bus route buses that connect Wakabadai Station and Inagi Station between 6:00 and 22:00 on weekdays, and 30 route buses that operate between 7:00 and 22:00 on weekends and holidays.
The current situation surrounding bus operators is that the number of drivers is decreasing, and as part of the work style reform, the "Standards for the Improvement of Working Hours of Motor Vehicle Drivers," which came into force on April 1, 2024, as part of the so-called Improvement Standards Notification, was revised to shorten the driver's working hours and ensure rest periods. In order to comply with this, the current number of drivers cannot be maintained, so in Inagi City, some of the schedules were reduced on March 16, 2024. As iBus is also facing a driver shortage, and as iBus aims to operate as a complement to route buses, it seems difficult to operate on the main route where route buses are currently operating.
Also, for your reference, in addition to the "Kamiyato Ohashi Minami" bus stop, there is the "Kenkyo" bus stop on Tsurukawa Kaido, which is a bus stop on the i-bus C route that passes through Wakabadai Station, just like the Odakyu bus bound for Kakio Station North Exit that can be used when using Wakabadai Station. The Odakyu bus runs 12 buses between 6:00 and 20:00 on weekdays, 11 buses between 6:00 and 20:00 on Saturdays, and 9 buses on Sundays and holidays, while the i-bus C route runs 10 buses between 6:00 and 20:00 on weekdays, and 8 buses between 7:00 and 19:00 on weekends and holidays. We hope you will consider using this bus stop as well.

3 1 day About Wakabadai Station Bus Stop No. 4 This is bus stop number 4 in the Wakabadai bus rotary, but the writing on the board listing the timetable and destinations is completely black and difficult to read, so I would like it to be replaced with a new one. Regarding the notice board at "Bus stop number 4 at Wakabadai Station bus rotary," since it is posted by the bus route operators Odakyu Bus and Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu, we have informed the bus route operators of the situation and requested them to make improvements. 4 3 days Park development in the Minamiyama area We are a family with children living in the Minamiyama district. We bought a house in the Minamiyama district eight years ago, and we heard that seven parks were to be built there at the time, but currently there are only two small plazas with playground equipment. We would like to know how far the project has progressed so far, and specifically when and where the parks will be built. Seven parks are planned within the Minamiyama Higashi Land Readjustment Area, which is being carried out by the Minamiyama Higashi Land Readjustment Association. However, due to the recent social situation, the association is reviewing the construction schedule and is currently experiencing delays in the association's development of the parks.
As you have pointed out, the city is aware that there are few places to play in the area, and we have been working with the association to develop a park as soon as possible. We have also installed playground equipment on the west side of Yaoko in Okuhata Yato Park, ordered by the city, and temporarily opened it again in March of this year. Furthermore, we are considering expanding the space for ball games within this fiscal year.
As for other parks, development is not progressing well in some areas due to the progress of construction work or the fact that they are being used as parking lots for construction-related vehicles, but the city and the association will continue to work together to make these parks available to local residents as soon as possible.

5 28th day Development in front of the station I hope the cherry blossoms in front of Inagi Station will not be lost. As someone who has lived in Inagi for almost 30 years and has loved these cherry blossoms, I hope they will somehow be preserved. Regarding the plaza in front of the south exit of Inagi Station, taking into consideration the urban infrastructure development of the currently ongoing Nanzan Eastern Land Readjustment Project and the surrounding urban development situation, such as the "TOKYO GIANTS TOWN" initiative, improvement work has begun this fiscal year to increase the number of bus and taxi boarding and waiting areas in order to accommodate the expansion of route bus services, as well as to improve the safety and convenience of station users and local residents.
In this construction project, we will widen the roadway to accommodate the addition of bus and taxi boarding and waiting areas, install a roof between the bus stop and the station building, and change the stairs to a ramp to make the area barrier-free. In order to ensure a good and safe pedestrian space, we plan to cut down cherry trees, despite the unavoidable circumstances. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we hope that you will enjoy the cherry blossoms along the nearby Misawa River.

6 28th day About the bus I live in Nagamine, and since March the bus service has been greatly reduced, which is very inconvenient. I use Wakabadai Station, but the bus service ends at 9 p.m., so I often walk home. I would like the bus service to be increased and the late-night bus service from Inagi Station to be restored, but if that is not possible, please take the following measures as soon as possible.
(1) The bus fare from Inagi Station to Nagamine should be set at 200 yen, the same as the fare from Wakabadai Station.
(2) After the bus stops, people have to walk home, and the roads in Nagamine are particularly dark, so I would like there to be more streetlights.
(3) After the last bus, please provide a shared taxi service to Nagamine that can be used for the same fare as the bus.
Regarding the background to the implementation of the timetable revision in March 2024, the city has heard from bus operators that the implementation was necessary due to a chronic driver shortage caused by factors such as the inability to secure the necessary number of drivers even when recruiting drivers due to the working environment, including driver wages, and the need to comply with the "Standards for improving the working hours of automobile drivers," also known as the "Improvement Standards Notification," which applies to bus drivers and others, which came into effect in April 2024, and the need to ensure an appropriate number of bus services according to the driver availability in order to maintain the bus business, not just for this route. At that time, we also conveyed the requests for shared taxis after the last bus to route bus operators authorized for shared transportation business under the Road Transportation Act.
In addition, regarding the fares for the Odakyu Bus and Keio Bus routes connecting Wakabadai Station and Inagi Station that you have requested, the fares are based on a per-kilometer section system (Musashio fare area) that is applied for and approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism by the route bus operator based on transportation costs, etc., so the fare will vary depending on the distance of the section used.
For your reference, there are two final buses heading towards Nagamine from Inagi Station at 10pm on weekdays and weekends, so please consider using those buses.
In addition, with regard to the installation of streetlights and other fixtures in the Nagamine area, the then Housing and Urban Development Corporation (now UR Urban Development Corporation) adopted the concept of "a town where you can see the stars" when selling homes, etc., and the area is characterized by calm streets that take into consideration streetlights and landscaping design. We have also received requests for emphasis to be placed on these streets and landscapes. Based on this, we will consider the need for installing streetlights and other fixtures based on opinions received from the neighborhood association federation, school route inspections, etc.

7 30 days Regarding felling or pruning of Himalayan cedar trees at Yanokuchi Mitani Children's Park The Himalayan cedars at Yanokuchi Mitani Children's Park have grown quite large. I would like them to be cut down or pruned. Regarding the large cedar tree planted in Yanokuchi Mitani Children's Park, as you pointed out, the large branches are extending into the neighboring land and may be affected by typhoons, so we are currently adjusting the timing of cutting it down. We also plan to heavily prune dead branches of trees in the park.
We will continue to strive to maintain and manage safe and secure parks, including by cutting down and pruning trees within the parks.

8 30 days Noise at Kamiyato Waterfront Park and its parking lot I am troubled by the noise at Kamiyato Waterfront Park and the parking lot of Kamiyato Waterfront Park, which is damaging my living environment. It is especially noisy from 10pm on Fridays to Sundays until the next morning, with the voices of young people gathering there and the sounds of motorcycles. I have been requesting this to the Green and Environment Division for the past three years, but no improvements have been made. I would like them to improve the situation by setting opening hours instead of opening 24 hours a day, and by charging for parking instead of free. Regarding the Kamiyato Waterfront Park parking lot, we have shared inquiries from local residents and others with the Sakahama Neighborhood Association, which is the designated manager, and have put up signs to inform people to use the parking lot quietly after 10pm and installed security cameras. However, based on the opinions of local residents and from the perspective of appropriate use of the parking lot, we plan to make the parking lot a paid facility from fiscal year 2025.
We will continue to strive to maintain and manage the park so that it is a comfortable environment for both local residents and park users.

1 29th Barrier-free access to libraries I have a hemiplegic disability, and it has become difficult for me to go to the library and use it as I used to. The other day, I visited the Third Library for the first time in a while, and the slope in front of the entrance is very steep and there is no handrail. It will be too late if someone gets injured, so I hope they will consider renovating it as soon as possible. Regarding your concerns, we have promptly shared the information with the relevant city departments. We would like to consider your suggestions in the future so that you can use the library in a safe and secure manner.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but when using the Third Library, please use the slope on the front side of the Third Cultural Center (Third Community Center), go through the facility and enter from the rear entrance of the library, although it is a little distance away, or enter from the north entrance of the Third Cultural Center, which has no elevation difference. There is a chime in front of the door of this entrance, so if you need help opening or closing the door, please press the chime and a staff member will come to you, so please use this as well.

1 28th day Proposal for distribution of Inagi City public relations materials The other day I wanted to get some additional Inagi City public relations materials, so I went to the Wakabadai branch office, i Plaza, and the station, but I couldn't find them anywhere. In the case of Inagi City, they said, "They distribute them to each household, but they don't have them anywhere else." In Fuchu City, where I work, they are available in public places. Why don't you distribute them in public places in Inagi City as well? Inagi Public Relations is the basis of the city's administrative information dissemination, and is distributed to every household in the city. In addition, it has been placed at the city's six train stations, post offices, and city public facilities so that everyone can see it. However, while the use of electronic versions of public relations on smartphones and computers has become more widespread, the cost of publishing the public relations paper has increased year by year due to the recent rise in raw material prices. In response to this, the city began distributing city public relations through an app in September 2022 and has been actively promoting the use of electronic public relations. For this reason, the number of copies of Inagi Public Relations published was reviewed, and from April 2023, distribution at the six train stations and post offices in the city was discontinued, and copies have been placed in public facilities for viewing.
If you would like a copy, please let us know and we will distribute it to you individually, although there are limited numbers available.

2 28th day About bicycle sharing I would like to see more bicycle-share stations established in the Nagamine area." Regarding your inquiry about "increasing the number of shared bicycle stations," a basic agreement has been concluded between the city and Open Street Co., Ltd., the operator, and we are working together on this project.
The most recent situation in the Nagamine area is that we have been adding more racks, with two being added at Inagi City General Gymnasium in August 2024, bringing the total to six, and five being added at Inagi Nagamine Sports Plaza in September 2024, bringing the total to 19, and six being added at Inagi Central Park (Kujira Bridge), increasing the total to 15.
The locations for the shared bicycle stations are decided taking into consideration profitability, etc., and may include public land provided by the city or private land secured through negotiations by the operating company.
We will continue to work in consultation with Open Street Co., Ltd. to expand the number of shared bicycle stations in the city, including in the Nagamine area.
