1 14th About the registration of deaf and hard-of-hearing Silver Human Resources Center I am an elderly person with a physical disability certificate (hearing impairment level 4). In the past, I wanted to work, so when I applied for a membership information session at the Silver Human Resources Center over the phone, I was unable to attend the information session because it was a group job. I think I can make use of my previous job experience for things like planting, and since I'm the same as a non-disabled person except for my hearing, I think there are jobs that I can do if I take measures.
The number of hearing-impaired people is expected to continue to increase as the population ages, and hearing-impaired people are more likely to develop dementia if they avoid contact with other people. I would like hearing-impaired people to open the way to register with the Silver Human Resources Center so that they can lead healthy lives.
When I checked with the Inagi City Silver Human Resources Center, I received the following reply.
"In response to an inquiry that asked us to clean a park as a job that does not involve interpersonal contact and is less dangerous, we responded that park cleaning is a group job and uses machines such as brush cutters. Since it is important to consider the safety of park users, I explained that it would be difficult to introduce park cleaning as a result of considering the safety of the members themselves and the safety of park users. I apologize for not being able to provide a sufficient explanation.
In addition, it is possible to participate in the admission briefing session by devising an amplifier or earphones. In addition, if approved by the Board of Directors after going through the usual briefing sessions and interviews with the Board of Directors, it is possible to join the Silver Human Resources Center.
On the other hand, with regard to jobs after registration, there are jobs that require less interpersonal skills and less impact on hearing. This is not necessarily the case. Also, if you are unable to introduce a job as a result, you will be required to pay annual membership fees and insurance premiums.
After acknowledging the above, I would appreciate it if you could consider participating in the briefing session.”
In the city, we will continue to support the employment of the elderly through the Silver Human Resources Center, so please consider participating in the briefing session.

2 days 14th About Cochlear Implant Assistance I am currently receiving assistance with hearing aids, but my hearing is gradually declining and I am considering cochlear implant surgery. I would like you to consider assistance in this case. Regarding assistance related to cochlear implant surgery, there is an independence support medical care (rehabilitation medical care) system. This system covers a portion of the medical expenses related to hearing-impaired persons in possession of a certificate for the physically disabled, whose symptoms have been alleviated or eliminated by surgery, and who are expected to recover their ability to perform daily activities. It's a help. To use the system, it is necessary to apply in advance at the city hall and undergo a medical examination by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. There are some conditions for applying, so if you wish to apply, please contact the Disability Welfare Division. Disability Welfare Section, Disability Welfare Section

1 11th About smokers near the Tama River This morning, there was a construction worker smoking near the entrance of Tamagawara Bridge (on the Yanoguchi Station side). Please be careful and take appropriate action.
At the same time, please take measures against smoking for Tamagawa users. Smoking while walking or cycling can ruin the pleasant environment of the Tama River. Please take measures such as setting smoking manners instructors and fines.
When we checked the situation at the site, we found that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government was carrying out repair work on the Tamagawara Bridge. We will instruct subcontracted workers, including subcontractors and other construction workers, to re-instruct them to thoroughly follow the rules at the site, and strive to prevent recurrence.”
In 2018, the city enacted the "Inagi City Ordinance Concerning Restrictions on Smoking on the Streets, etc." to restrict walking smoking throughout the city and smoking on the streets when there are people around. In addition, roads and parks within a 30-meter radius of 6 stations in the city where many people gather are designated as smoking-free areas. We will continue to strive to promote safe and comfortable environmental beautification through patrols by instructors who provide smoking guidance.

1 The 10th About iPlaza Hall When using the iPlaza Hall, the time required to set up the soundboard, which is essential for classical concerts, is included in the usage time. It takes about an hour to set up and remove the soundboard, and during that time it is necessary to leave the stage and the audience seats, so it cannot be used. Considering the number of customers coming in and out, it can only be used for about 2 hours, and it's such a pain that the content of the concert has to be cut. In neighboring cities, consideration is given to allowing the use of soundboards for as long as possible.
Also, the organizers are responsible for all aspects of lighting, sound, and recording, and if necessary, they need to arrange for a stage contractor out of their own pocket. However, it is not that the usage fee is cheaper than neighboring cities.
In addition, there is no cancellation, and once you deposit, there is no refund of the usage fee.
I would like you to review various operations with reference to neighboring cities.
Installation of fixtures and equipment is done during the same hours as other facilities and equipment in the city. In addition, regarding the arrangement of specialist engineers for lighting and sound, it is difficult to deal with the current usage fees and contracts. In the future, we will investigate facilities with similar rental uses and equipment conditions, and study considerations that can be handled by designated managers based on contracts.
Regarding cancellations, if the facility cannot be rented due to external factors such as facility convenience or disasters, we will make a transfer or refund. We do not offer refunds from the perspective of ensuring a wide range of opportunities. Regarding the hall business as a sponsoring business, usage fees are not the main source of funds, but a lot of expenses are required for the management and operation of facilities including the hall. Please understand that, from the perspective of sustainable local government management, the city asks facility users to pay the appropriate usage fee as a beneficiary burden.
