Elimination measures guidelines for organized crime groups in Inagi city contracts
Inagi City has established a new ``Inagi City Contract Guidelines for Eliminating Organized Crime Groups, etc.'' in order to exclude organized crime groups from all contracts the city orders, and it has come into effect on September 10, 2010.
The guidelines include: (1) The city will not enter into contracts with businesses that have ties to organized crime groups. (2) If the contractor or subcontractor is found to have ties to organized crime after the contract is signed, the contract will be canceled. (3) Require contractors and subcontractors to report to the police and Inagi City if they receive unreasonable demands from organized crime groups. --We have policies such as:
In addition, businesses that fall under any of the following will not be allowed to participate in bidding for at least 12 months.
(1) A business that is a member of an organized crime group or whose management is substantially involved in the management of an organized crime group; (2) A business that unfairly gives money, goods, etc. to an organized crime group member, cooperates with the maintenance or operation of an organized crime group, or is involved in the maintenance or operation of an organized crime group. (3) Businesses that are found to be using the power of organized crime groups or organized crime members for the purpose of obtaining illegal profits or inflicting damage (4) Businesses that are found to be using the power of organized crime groups or organized crime members, etc. for the purpose of obtaining illegal profits or inflicting damage. Agreement on Exclusion of Gangs in Inagi City Contract
Following the establishment of the guidelines, Inagi City signed an agreement on April 22, 2011 with the Organized Crime Countermeasures Division, Organized Crime Countermeasures Division, Metropolitan Police Department, in order to establish an information collaboration system with the police.
Information will be provided, opinions will be heard, and opinions will be expressed with the Metropolitan Police Department regarding whether or not businesses participating in bidding or businesses that have already signed contracts are affiliated with organized crime groups.

Special agreement on elimination measures for organized crime groups in Inagi city contracts
Starting from the contract dated May 17, 2011, a special clause regarding the exclusion of organized crime groups will be attached to the contract terms and conditions.
The special agreement stipulates that the contract may be canceled if the contractor is deemed to have a relationship with an organized crime group or a member of an organized crime group.
