A warning about ``U-NEXT Co., Ltd.'s company'' who tries to pay money under the pretext of unpaid fees for paid videos using SMS
Updated: December 28, 2016
Since July 2015, consumer affairs centers, etc. in various places have been receiving inquiries about businesses pretending to be U-NEXT Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "fake U-NEXT") who are trying to get people to pay money under the guise of unpaid fees for paid videos using SMS.
Based on the provisions of Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act (Act No. 50 of 2009), the Consumer Affairs Agency has provided information that there is an act that may unfairly harm the interests of consumers in transactions with counterfeit U-Next (confused by deceiving or intimidating consumers).
