Regarding the provision of information pursuant to Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act

From the Consumer Affairs Agency, in order to prevent the occurrence or spread of consumer harm, based on the provisions of Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act (Act No. 50 of 2009), to prevent the occurrence or spread of consumer harm We have provided useful information, so we call on consumers to pay attention. 

  • Beware of companies that use the names of major telecommunications companies and make fictitious charges using automated voice calls and international phone numbers
  • Alert regarding side job support businesses that use remote control apps to obtain high-cost loans from consumer finance companies
  • Alert regarding fake sites purporting to sell popular brand women's clothing, etc.
  • A warning about clogged toilet repair companies that display low prices on their websites but actually charge high prices.
  • Alert against business operators who solicit people who want to lose weight by saying, "You can improve your constitution all at once, without additional costs," and sell tea, etc. that claims to have slimming effects one after another.
  • Warning about fake sites masquerading as official mail-order sites for popular interior furniture and miscellaneous goods
  • Alert on Counterfeit Water Purification Cartridges Sold on Trading Digital Platforms
  • A business operator who purchases a manual for a side job that says, "Monthly income is 1 million yen easily with a smartphone" and "You get paid only for sending fixed phrases," and contracts an expensive support plan to become an agent for live streaming applicants. alert regarding
  • Calling attention to businesses that are causing delays in delivery of class T-shirts, etc. ordered for use at events at high schools, etc.
  • Accidents keep happening around a certain trampoline park 1! ― Do not engage in dangerous activities such as flipping, even if the facility does not warn you ―

  • "Key Ranger", "Key Rescue", "Key Business Trip 24 Hour Center", "Key 110 24 Hours", "Key Lucky Seven", "Key 24 Hour Ambulance", "Key 110" ”, and “key 110 ambulance” alert regarding service transactions related to unlocking and repairing locks
  • Alert regarding sellers of falsely labeled products claiming to contain cashmere on shopping mall sites operated by digital platform operators
  • A warning about business operators who make consumers purchase text materials of about 7,000 yen by introducing a profitable side business by simply pasting photos, and then make them pay an extremely large amount of money by telephone solicitation.
  • Calling attention to businesses that use the name of a public agency such as the Consumer Affairs Agency and offer to issue fictitious "settlement money" to make them pay money.

  • Warning about fake sites that talk about real mail-order sites
  • Calling attention to two companies that pay a large amount of money, such as a business that earns 100,000 yen every month
