Those who have lost their jobs due to bankruptcy, dismissal, termination of employment, etc.

If you have left your job due to bankruptcy, dismissal, termination of employment, etc., you can apply for a reduction in the National Health Insurance tax (income percent related to salary income).

Target audience

Those who receive benefits such as unemployment with the following qualifications
Note: Those who are 65 years of age or older as of the day after the date of separation from employment are not eligible.

(1) Specific qualified recipients of employment insurance (e.g., separation from employment due to bankruptcy, dismissal, etc.)

Reason for separation from employment code on Employment Insurance Qualified Recipient Certificate: 11, 12, 21, 22, 31, 32

(2) Persons separated from employment insurance for specific reasons (e.g., separation from employment due to termination of employment, etc.)

Reason code for separation from employment insurance certificate: 23, 33, 34

How to apply

Please apply at the National Health Insurance Section counter on the 1st floor of City Hall, No. 5.
At that time, please bring the "notice of eligibility for employment insurance (original)" or "certificate of eligibility for employment insurance (original)". You can also apply at the Hirao branch office or Wakabadai branch office.
Note: Applications cannot be made by telephone or mail.
Note: The "Notification Concerning Exceptionally Insured Persons, etc." is also available at the National Health Insurance Section counter.

Content of mitigation

The National Health Insurance tax is calculated by considering the salary income of the previous year subject to taxation of the National Health Insurance tax as 30/100.

period of relief

It is the period from the day after leaving employment to the end of the next fiscal year.
Note: This is different from the period during which you receive unemployment insurance benefits.
Note: While you are enrolled in the National Health Insurance, you will continue to be covered even if you find a job in the middle.

8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on public holidays Note: On public holidays, 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Note: Only City Hall is open on public holidays.
