Cancer screening/brain checkup fee subsidy

In order to maintain and improve health, if members of the Inagi City National Health Insurance voluntarily undergo cancer screenings or brain checkups at medical institutions, a portion of the costs incurred for such examinations will be subsidized.

Eligibility

Those who meet all of the following conditions
1. Cancer Screening (1) As of the date of screening, you are enrolled in National Health Insurance.
(2) As of the date of consultation, the patient is under 40 years of age.
(3) National health insurance tax has been paid in full.
Note: For cancer screening for people aged 40 and over, please contact the Health Center. You can receive screening at a cost of 10% to 30%. For more information, please refer to the link below.

Adult health (cancer screening, periodontal disease screening, etc.)

2. Brain checkup (1) As of the date of the checkup, you are enrolled in National Health Insurance.
(2) You have paid your national health insurance tax in full.
Note: There is no age limit for brain checkups.

Target examination

  1. Cancer screening (colon cancer, stomach cancer, breast cancer, uterine cancer, prostate cancer)
  2. Brain checkup

Note: Examinations covered by insurance, etc., for which you do not pay the full cost of the examination, are not subsidized.

Grant amount

Amount equivalent to 1/2 of the examination fee paid by the examinee
Note: If the amount equivalent to half of the examination fee exceeds 20,000 yen, the upper limit is 20,000 yen.

Number of grants

Brain checkup and cancer screening once each within the fiscal year (cancer screening can be subsidized once for each of the five items)

How to apply

Please bring the following items to the Health Insurance and Pension Section or Hirao/Wakabadai branch office to apply.

  • insurance card
  • Receipt
  • Something that shows the inspection items (description, etc.)
  • Something that shows the transfer destination (passbook, etc.)

Within 2 years from the date of examination

Available date and time for application

8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on public holidays Note: On public holidays, 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Note: Only City Hall is open on public holidays.
