Introduction of Inagi City's comprehensive care prevention and daily life support business

From April 2015, Inagi City started a comprehensive care prevention and daily life support project.
After answering the basic checklist (see below), those who are experiencing deterioration in daily living functions will consult with the Regional Comprehensive Support Center and decide which service to use.

If you are using only one or both of preventive long-term care outpatient care (day service) and home-visit care (home help service) of long-term care insurance services, even if you do not receive certification for long-term care, the results of the basic checklist If deemed necessary, preventive care and life support services are available. (Those aged 40 to 64 must be certified as needing long-term care.)

Long-term care prevention and life support service business

This service is for those who have been certified as needing support 1 or 2, and those who have a decline in daily life functions (those who have answered the basic checklist and meet the criteria).
So that you can continue your hobbies and activities that give you a reason to live, strengthen your muscles and continue living as much as possible on your own. You can receive advice on exercise and daily life from a specialist.
If you want to use the service, please contact the Regional Comprehensive Support Center in your area.

Outpatient service A (use once a week, day service with relaxed standards)

You can interact through simple exercise and recreation by using it about once a week.

Outpatient Service C (Effectively in a short period of time! Increase muscle strength)

We train intensively over a period of about 6 months, aiming to improve physical function and daily life functions.
Specialists at the business office and the Community Comprehensive Support Center will support you in setting individual goals and achieving them, such as participating in local activities and enriching your hobbies.
Our experts will also make suggestions so that you can continue exercising on your own even after the program ends.

Visiting Service A (Home Help Service)

About once a week, we provide living assistance such as partial assistance with cleaning and laundry, assistance with taking out garbage, and assistance with shopping for heavy items.

Visiting service C

A registered dietitian will visit and provide nutritional guidance.
It is effective to address both exercise and nutrition for functional recovery.
We will tell you how to intake energy and protein while taking your preferences into account.

General care prevention business

This service is available to everyone over the age of 65. (There are some conditions.)
In particular, we will support people who are currently living an independent life so that they can continue to live independently and lively in the future.

Muscles can be strong at any age! "Nursing preventive gymnastics class"

From flexibility exercises that can be done while sitting on a chair to mouth exercises, even those who are not confident in their physical strength can participate with confidence.
We also do brain training.
Classes are held once a week for 3 months.

"Fall fracture prevention class" centered on lower extremities

A health exercise instructor will go to a group of 10 or more people and teach exercises. (Total 10 times)
We aim to be able to continue exercising in a group even after taking the course.

“Eating habits improvement class” to live well in old age

A registered dietitian will teach you how to take simple, nutritionally balanced meals for seniors.
Please feel free to join us even if you are not good at cooking or have little experience.
Men are also welcome to participate.

The key to health is chewing power! "Oral Function Improvement Class"

Have you ever experienced thirst or choking, or difficulty eating hard foods?
A dental hygienist will teach you how to care for your mouth so that you can enjoy delicious meals all the time.

Composite classroom

This is a great value course that allows you to comprehensively learn the exercise, nutrition, and oral care necessary for body building in old age.
Professionally taught by health exercise instructors, registered dietitians, and dental hygienists.
There are 8 classes in total, once a week.

Nursing care support volunteer system

In Inagi City, when elderly people do volunteer activities at nursing care insurance facilities, etc., points are given according to the activity results, and by applying, you can receive a grant of up to 5,000 yen per year. (In response to efforts to prevent long-term care through volunteer activities, we will substantially reduce long-term care insurance premiums.)
