Introducing the portal site for supporting the balance between work and family life (Tokyo Metropolitan Government)

Update date: December 7, 2021

As the working population decreases due to the declining birthrate and aging population, and the needs of working people become more diverse, it is important to create a work environment that allows people to balance work with childcare, nursing care, disease treatment, and infertility treatment.
Additionally, with people getting married later and having children later in life, it has been pointed out that some households have to take care of childcare and nursing care at the same time (double care), and it is estimated that approximately 250,000 people nationwide are facing this problem.
This portal site provides a variety of information useful for balancing family and work, including case studies, work-life balance experiences, and columns for managers, human resources personnel, and workers. We also introduce the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's projects related to work-life balance support, so please take advantage of them.
