Furthermore, if the procedure location is within Tokyo, the tax stop procedure is not required (within the Tokyo area, information about changes in registration details is sent to Inagi City).
Additionally, if you request a related organization near the transportation bureau or light vehicle inspection association where you completed the registration change procedure to act on your behalf for the declaration, the tax stop procedure is also not required.

Those who need to complete tax withholding procedures themselves

If you meet both of the following two conditions, you will need to complete the tax suspension procedure yourself.

• The procedures for changing the registration details of motorcycles over 125cc and light vehicles such as four-wheeled and three-wheeled vehicles that are taxed in Inagi City were carried out at transportation bureaus and light vehicle inspection associations in other prefectures.

Procedures for cases where taxation continues even though the vehicle is no longer owned
