Notification of change of address

Even if you move within Inagi City, you are required to notify your resident registration of the change.
The procedure for moving takes time. If you apply near the end of business hours, the procedure may not be completed on the same day. Please submit your change of address notification by 4:00 p.m.
Notification period
Within 14 days from the day you moved (you can submit the notification after you start living at your new address).
Notification location
- City Hall 1st floor, Citizens Affairs Division
- Hirao Branch
- Wakabadai branch office (i-Plaza 1st floor)
Please note that changes to resident registration for households that include foreign residents cannot be processed at the branch office. Please come to the Citizens' Affairs Division on the first floor of City Hall.
Person who filed the notice
- The person himself
- Those who will be in the same household as the person at the new address
- Representatives other than those listed above (power of attorney required)
Note: The power of attorney must be signed or signed and stamped by the person in question.
What you need for notification
(1) Identification document of the person submitting the notification (2) Individual Number Cards of all persons moving (if they have them)
(3) Basic Resident Registration Card (if you have one)
(4) In the case of foreign residents, the residence cards or special permanent resident certificates of all those moving in
Note: You will need to change your address on your My Number Card. Please see the "Changes to information on your My Number Card (Personal Number Card) and continued use (change of address, etc.)" page for what you need to bring and how to proceed.

Required only if applicable
- For foreign residents whose household composition has changed and who cannot demonstrate their relationship with the head of the household, a certificate and translation showing this.
- National health insurance card
- Elderly elderly insurance card
- Nursing care insurance card
- Elderly Health Act Medical Care Recipient Card
- Maru disability recipient ID
- Single-parent family medical certificate
- Infant medical certificate etc.
Other necessary items and procedures, such as receipt certificates and seals issued by Inagi City, vary depending on the individual. If you have any questions, please contact the relevant departments as soon as possible.
Possible date and time for procedures
8:30am to 5pm on business days. Note: 8:30am to 11:45am and 1pm to 5pm on holiday days.
Note: Only City Hall is open on holidays.
