Transfer notification

- Those moving from Inagi City to other municipalities
- Those who are moving from Inagi City to a foreign country and staying overseas for a long period of time (approximately one year or more)
You will need to notify us of your change of residence.
Note: If your stay overseas will be less than one year, you do not need to submit a moving out notification, regardless of whether you are Japanese or foreign.

Approximately 14 days before the planned move date
Note: If you have already moved, please notify us immediately.
Notification method
1. Online application (only for those who have a My Number card)

2. In-person application
- City Hall 1st floor, Citizens Affairs Division
- Hirao Branch
- Wakabadai branch office (i-Plaza 1st floor)
Please note that changes to resident registration for households that include foreign residents cannot be processed at the branch office. Please come to the Citizens' Affairs Division on the first floor of City Hall.

Note: The power of attorney must be signed or signed and stamped by the person in question.

Moving to Japan
(1) Identification documents of the person making the notification
Moving overseas (emigrate abroad)
(1) Identification document of the person submitting the notification (2) Individual Number Cards of all persons moving out (only if you have one)
(3) Basic Resident Registration Card (if you have one)
Note: Japanese nationals who have a My Number card will need to complete the "Overseas continued use procedure ." Please see the "Overseas continued use of My Number card" page for what you need to bring and how to complete the procedure.
Note: Foreign nationals who have a My Number card must surrender it when they submit their moving-out notification.

- National health insurance card
- Latter-stage elderly medical insurance card
- Nursing care insurance card
- Elderly Health Act Medical Care Recipient Card
- Maru disability recipient ID
- Single-parent family medical certificate
- Infant medical certificate
- Child rearing allowance certificate etc.
Other necessary items and procedures, such as receipt certificates and seals issued by Inagi City, differ depending on the individual.

8:30am to 5pm on business days. Note: 8:30am to 11:45am and 1pm to 5pm on holiday days.
Note: Only City Hall is open on holidays.
Exceptions for notification of moving in (persons with My Number Card or Basic Resident Registration Card)
If you have a My Number Card (Individual Number Card) or a Basic Resident Registration Card, a special provision for notification of moving in will be applied, and in principle, a paper moving out certificate will not be issued.
