Notification of moving out

If you move from Inagi City to another municipality or overseas, you must submit a notification to change your resident registration.
Please refer to the PDF file below for various procedures associated with moving out.
For details, please contact the department in charge in advance.

Online transfer notification (internal link)

If you have a My Number Card, you can apply for a change of residence notification online through Mynaportal.

Notification period

About 14 days or more before the scheduled moving date
Note If you have already moved, please notify us immediately.

Notification place

  • City Hall 1st Floor Citizens Division
  • Hirao branch office
  • Wakabadai branch office (i plaza 1st floor)

Note: Changes to the resident registration of households that include foreign residents cannot be processed at branch offices. Please come to the Citizens Section on the 1st floor of City Hall.

Reporter

  • The person moving
  • Those who live in the same household as the person in Inagi City
  • Agent with Power of Attorney

Note: The power of attorney must be signed by the person who entrusted it.

Items required for notification

Identity verification documents of the notifier
Note Please check the "Identity Verification for Various Notifications/Requests" page for identity verification documents of the notifier.

Required only if applicable

  • My number card (personal number card)
  • Basic Resident Register card
  • National health insurance card
  • Latter-stage elderly medical insurance card
  • Long-term care insurance card
  • Elderly Health Law Medical Care Beneficiary Certificate
  • Maru Disability Recipient Certificate
  • Single-parent family medical certificate
  • Infant medical certificate
  • Child Rearing Allowance Certificate, etc.

Other necessary items and procedures, such as receipt certificates and seals issued by Inagi City, differ depending on the individual.
If you have any questions or details, please contact the relevant departments as soon as possible.

Available date and time

From 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. of open agency day Remarks: From 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Note: Only City Hall is open on holidays.

Notification of moving out by mail

You can also request a moving-out certificate issued to those who have submitted a moving-out notification by mail.

Exceptions for notification of moving in (persons with My Number Card or Basic Resident Registration Card)

If you have a My Number Card (Individual Number Card) or a Basic Resident Registration Card, a special provision for notification of moving in will be applied, and in principle, a paper moving out certificate will not be issued.
