Notification (changed from No. 1 to No. 2) via the place of employment is required.
When you become a dependent of health insurance due to your spouse's employment
Notification (changed from No. 1 to No. 3) via the spouse's place of employment is required.
When your income decreases and you become a dependent of your spouse's health insurance
Notification (changed from No. 1 to No. 3) via the spouse's place of employment is required.
When moving overseas
A disqualification procedure is required.
Please bring your identification documents (my number card, driver's license, etc.) and basic pension number notification or pension handbook.
In addition, if you want to continue to join the National Pension after moving out, you will need to apply for voluntary enrollment.

When you quit your company and become a dependent of your spouse's health insurance

When a dependent spouse retires and becomes a primary insured person such as a self-employed person
The person in question must submit a notification to the city hall (changed from No. 3 to No. 1).

When your spouse changes jobs or when your spouse's enrollment system changes
Notification (changed from No. 3 to No. 3) via the spouse's place of employment is required.
When a person under the age of 60 finds a job and joins the Employees' Pension
It is necessary to notify (changed from No. 3 to No. 2) via the place of employment of the person and his/her spouse.
When a Category 3 insured person residing outside Japan ceases to be a dependent spouse
Notification (loss of eligibility from item 3) is required via the spouse's place of employment.
When your address or name changes
Notification must be made through your spouse's place of employment.
There is no change in the type of insured person.
When trying to receive a pension
You can apply from the day before your birthday at the Pension Section of the Health Insurance and Pension Division at the city hall. However, if you are a Category 2 or 3 insured person, you should apply to the Fuchu Pension Office or the nearest Pension Consultation Center.
