The pension notebook has been changed to the "Basic Pension Number Notification"

Last updated: April 1, 2023

From April 2020, a basic pension number notification will be issued to those newly joining the pension system and those who wish to have their pension notebook reissued due to loss or other reasons. The Basic Pension Number Notification, like the pension handbook, proves that you are (or were) insured by the National Pension. You may be asked to present it during various pension procedures or when finding employment (when enrolling in the Employees' Pension Plan).

Note: Basic pension number notifications will not be issued to those who already have a pension book. You can continue to use your pension handbook as usual, so please keep it in a safe place.

If you lose your basic pension number notification (or pension notebook)
