Pension handbook changed to "basic pension number notification"

From April 2020, a basic pension number notification will be issued to those who newly join the pension system and those who wish to have it reissued due to loss of their pension book, etc. The Basic Pension Number Notice is, like the pension handbook, proof that you are (or were) an insured person under the National Pension. You may be asked to present it during various pension procedures or at the time of employment (when enrolling in the Employees' Pension Insurance).

Note: We will not issue a basic pension number notification to those who already have a pension handbook. You can continue to use your pension handbook as before, so please keep it in a safe place.
