What is the national pension?

The National Pension is an intergenerational support system in which everyone contributes insurance premiums in advance and supports each other financially so that our lives are not impaired due to old age or unforeseen accidents.
All people living in Japan between the ages of 20 and 60 are legally obligated to join and pay premiums.
