To receive old-age basic pension

Premium payment period of 10 years or more is required
The Old-age Basic Pension is available when you reach the age of 65 if you have 10 years or more, including the number of months you have paid premiums and the number of months you have been exempted from premiums.
Please contact the Pension Office regarding the Old-age Employees' Pension paid to those who have previously enrolled in the Employees' Pension.
Those who have not paid insurance premiums for 10 years or more
You can receive a pension if you have 10 years or more, including the total period (empty period) that is not included in the calculation of the pension amount and the period for which premiums have been paid. For details, please contact the pension office.
Main periods covered by the calculation: (1) Period of participation in the Employees' Pension before March 1961 (2) Period of receipt of the Employees' Pension Withdrawal Allowance from April 1961 to March 1986 (3) From April 1961 to March 1986, the period between the ages of 20 and under 60 when the spouses of salaried workers and civil servants who were able to voluntarily enroll in the National Pension did not enroll (4) 1961 From April onwards, during the period of enrollment in the Employees' Pension (Category 2 insured person), the period is under the age of 20 and over the age of 60.
(5) From April 1961 to March 1986, spouses of salaried workers and civil servants who voluntarily enrolled in the national pension but did not pay premiums (6) Period of age 20 to 60 (6) Showa 36 Period of overseas residence after April 2019 (20 to 60 years old)
(7) From April 1986, those aged between 20 and 60 who lived overseas and voluntarily enrolled but did not pay premiums (8) April 1986 to March 1991 Period of being a student between the ages of 20 and 60 until the end of the period (9) Period of special payment for students from April 2000 (period of non-payment)
(10) From April 2005, the period during which payment was deferred (period during which late payment was not made)
