Narrow Road Widening and Improvement Project

Updated: June 3, 2024

Roads in our neighborhood are one of the most important facilities for our lives. In particular, roads in daily life are not just for passage, but also play an important role in ensuring sunlight and ventilation, protecting a comfortable living environment, and serving as evacuation routes in the event of a disaster.

However, in Inagi City, there are many narrow residential roads with a width of less than 4 meters, so-called "narrow roads." Narrow roads are not only dangerous for people and cars, and bicycles and cars, but also pose a major obstacle to the passage of emergency vehicles and firefighting activities in the event of an emergency.

Therefore, in order to eliminate these narrow roads and create a better living environment, the city has been carrying out the Narrow Road Widening and Improvement Project since fiscal 1991.

We ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to promote the creation of a safe, comfortable, and people-friendly city.
