The deadline for taking the specific health checkup is November 30. There are no plans to extend the deadline or conduct additional checkups, so if you miss the deadline, you will not be able to take the specific health checkup for this year.
As the examination deadline approaches, it will become busy, so please come in early.
Annual health checkup!
If you are 40 years of age or older and are enrolled in the Inagi City National Health Insurance, please take a "specific health checkup" for the early detection and prevention of lifestyle-related diseases!
In recent years, it is estimated that lifestyle-related diseases account for approximately one-third of all deaths in Japan due to changes in the social and living environment.
Lifestyle-related diseases progress without subjective symptoms. It is important to have an annual check-up to check your health.
Target audience
Those who meet all of the following conditions
- Those who are enrolled in Inagi City National Health Insurance on the day of the examination
- Those who will be turning 40 to 74 years old during the fiscal year 2024, and those who will turn 75 years old in or after June 2024
Sending time/Deadline for consultation
Tickets will be sent out in order from the beginning of June. Once you have received your consultation ticket, please make a reservation at a designated medical institution in the city and have a medical examination by the following deadline.
1. Those between the ages of 40 and 74
Deadline for examination: November 30, 2024
2. Those who will be 75 years old between June 2nd and October 31st
Deadline for examination: October 31, 2024
3.Those who will be 75 years old in November
Consultation deadline: Until the day before your birthday
Note: Ages are as of March 31, 2025. Note: Please note that you will not be able to receive treatment if you have moved or joined another health insurance plan .
Please return the medical examination voucher together with your insurance card when you cancel your National Health Insurance coverage.

Precautions when undergoing a medical examination
- The first month before the deadline is very busy and you may not be able to see a doctor. Please make a reservation as soon as possible after receiving the ticket .
- Please be sure to fill out the medical questionnaire in the consultation ticket in advance and bring it with you.
- Please wear clothes that are easy to put on and take off.
- Collect urine.
- Please note that if an additional fundus examination is required, you may be required to undergo a checkup at another hospital.
Meal intake, etc.
- If you have a checkup in the morning, please do not eat or drink anything other than water for at least 10 hours before the checkup, as this may affect the results of tests such as blood sugar levels.
- If you have a checkup in the afternoon, it is recommended that you have a light breakfast and do not consume any food or drink other than water until the checkup.
- Refrain from consuming alcohol or exercising vigorously the day before your checkup.

If you have undergone a health checkup or complete medical checkup at your workplace , you will be considered to have undergone a specific health checkup if you submit the required documents. In order to understand your health condition, please submit a copy of the medical examination results when you receive them.
