Land Readjustment Project by Associations and Others

Among the implementers of the Land Readjustment Project, we will introduce the areas where cooperatives and former housing and urban development corporations have implemented the project and where the project has been completed, as well as the areas currently under implementation.
The Land Readjustment Project implemented by cooperatives is carried out by seven or more promoters who establish the articles of incorporation and project plan, and obtain the governor's approval for the establishment of the cooperative. The cooperative is a corporation that includes all landowners and leaseholders within the area as its members (Article 3, Paragraph 2 of the Land Readjustment Act).
The individual implementation of the Land Readjustment Project can be done by one person (individual implementation) or by several people working together (joint implementation). In individual implementation, standards and project plans are established, while in joint implementation, rules and project plans are established, and approval from the governor is obtained to carry out the project.
Additionally, as a characteristic of individual implementation, there is a consent implementation system.
