To install or change specific facilities based on the Noise Regulation Act and the Vibration Regulation Act, prior notification is required.

Specific Facilities

Specific facilities refer to those facilities installed in factories or business establishments that generate significant noise and vibration, as defined by government ordinance.

Procedure for Installation

Documents Required for Notification

  1. Form No. 1 for Notification of Installation of Specific Facilities
  2. Methods for Preventing Noise and Vibration
  3. Appendix List
  4. Guide Map (Map of the Area Within 50 Meters)
  5. Site and Building Layout Plan (Neighborhood Relationship Diagram)
  6. Floor Plan (Facility Layout)
  7. Elevation Drawing
  8. Equipment Structural Diagram (Machine Catalog, etc.)

How to Create a Notification Form

  • When creating, please write with a ballpoint pen or fountain pen if you are writing by hand.
  • Please prepare two copies of the notification form, one original and one copy. You may use a carbon copy paper for the copy.
  • Please refer to the example for instructions on filling out and creating the notification form.
  • In the case of simultaneous notification under the Noise Regulation Act and the Vibration Regulation Act, the notification drawings for the Vibration Regulation Act [4 to 7] can be omitted.

Note: Regarding various notification documents, due to the abolition of seals, please correct any errors in the content by using double lines or similar methods.

Notes on Submission and Return of Notification Forms

  • Please contact the city representative in advance, and the person or responsible party intending to set up the facility should come to the city office.
  • A copy of the notification will be provided after the completion inspection, in principle.
