Sale of Roads and Waterways
Land that has lost its function as a road or waterway can be sold off.
Conditions for Disposal
- Only those who own land adjacent to the road or waterway they wish to acquire can apply.
- The desired land has lost its function as a road or waterway and is not being used for public purposes.
- The boundary between the land and the road or waterway for which the transfer is desired has been determined.
- Consent from other adjacent landowners has been obtained, etc.
Application Procedures
- Please consult with the Management Section of the Management Division in advance.
- After the consultation, the responsible staff will conduct a site survey and inform you of the possibility of disposal.
- If it becomes available for disposal, please submit the necessary documents such as the request for disposal.

- In addition to the land price, all costs related to the procedures (boundary confirmation, surveying, registration fees, etc.) will be borne by the applicant, so please be aware of this in advance.
- Regarding the disposal of roads, a resolution to abolish the designation of city roads may be required by the Inagi City Council.
- When disposing of municipal roads, the procedure will take place after the announcement based on the Road Act and the management period (2 months) have elapsed.
