Those who fall under the following categories can vote by mail. In any case, you must be registered on the voter list of Inagi City. Also, since it takes time for mail and other processes, please complete the procedures early.

Persons staying in municipalities other than Inagi City

On election day, those who are staying in municipalities outside of Inagi City due to business trips or travel will be eligible.
If you request a ballot from the Inagi City Election Administration Commission, a complete set of ballots will be mailed to your location, and you will need to bring that complete set of ballots to the election administration office at your location to vote. Please note that the request form (Absentee Ballot Application and Declaration) will be published as the election approaches.
Note: Among the complete set of ballots, please do not open the envelope containing the absentee ballot certificate. If you open it, you will not be able to vote. Additionally, you cannot pre-fill the ballot.
Note: For more details, please see the page on "Absentee Voting at Your Location."

Absentee Voting Period

From the day after the election announcement date to the day before the voting date
Note: Please vote early, considering the mailing period.
Note: For information on voting hours and polling places, please contact the Election Administration Commission at your location.

Those who are hospitalized or residing in hospitals, nursing homes, etc., designated as absentee voting facilities.

Those who are hospitalized or residing in hospitals or nursing homes designated as absentee voting facilities are eligible.
If you inform the staff of the facility, the head of the facility will request a ballot from the Election Administration Commission, and in response to that request, we will send the ballot to the head of the facility. After it has been sent, you will vote within the facility following the instructions of the facility staff.
Note: For more details, please see the page on "Absentee Voting at Designated Hospitals, etc."

Persons who have difficulty moving due to severe disabilities and other reasons

Individuals who meet certain disabilities or require nursing care level 5 are eligible. Voting can be done from home or other locations by mail, etc.
Note: For more details, please see the page on "Absentee Voting by Mail and Proxy Writing System."

Those who have the right to vote on election day but do not have the right to vote on the early voting days

Those who will turn 18 by election day but are still 17 on the day of early voting are eligible. Registration will be done at the early voting location. However, instead of placing the ballot in the ballot box, it will be submitted in an envelope for absentee voting.
