Absentee Voting at Your Place of Stay

On election day, those who are staying in municipalities outside of Inagi City due to business trips or travel will be eligible.

Voting Process

Request for Ballot

Please fill out the "Absentee Ballot Application and Declaration" and submit it directly to the Election Administration Commission of Inagi City or by mail to request your ballot. Note: Requests cannot be made by fax or email.

Sending of Ballots

Upon request, after comparing with the voter registration list, a complete set of ballots will be mailed to your residence.
Note: It will be sent via Letter Pack Plus or expedited simple registered mail, so it will be received in person.

Voting at Your Residence

Please bring the complete set of received ballots to the Election Administration Commission at your place of stay and cast your vote.
Note: Do not open the envelope containing the absentee ballot certificate. If opened, you will not be able to vote.
Note: You cannot pre-fill the ballot.

Voting Period and Location

The absentee voting period for the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly election is from June 14 (Saturday) to June 21 (Saturday).
Note: Please vote early, considering the mailing period.

Note: If there is no election being held at the Election Administration Commission of your stay, it will be during the office hours of that Election Administration Commission. For information on the dates, times, and locations where you can vote, please contact the Election Administration Commission of your stay in advance.
