Voter Registration List

To vote, you must not only have the right to vote but also be registered on the electoral roll.

Voter Registration

Regular registration is conducted on the 1st day of March, June, September, and December each year.
Additionally, when there is an election, registration will be conducted based on a specified reference date.

Eligibility for Registration

Those who meet the following requirements will be registered.

• Japanese citizens aged 18 and over
• Those who have been registered in the basic resident register of Inagi City for more than 3 months continuously from the date the Certificate of Residence was issued to the reference date
• Those who have moved out after the applicable date four months prior to the reference date and have been recorded in the basic resident register of Inagi City for more than three months continuously before moving out.

Cancellation of Registration

In the following cases, you will be removed from the voter registration list.

• When death occurs or when Japanese nationality is lost
• Four months have passed since moving out of Inagi City
