Second Basic Plan for Promoting the Use of the Adult Guardianship System in Inagi City

The Basic Plan for Promoting the Use of the Adult Guardianship System is a plan concerning measures for the support of rights protection and the promotion of the use of the adult guardianship system, based on the law regarding the promotion of the use of the adult guardianship system.

In this city, we established the Tama Southern Adult Guardianship Center in July 2003 as a general incorporated association whose main business is adult guardianship based on welfare considerations, in collaboration with five neighboring cities (Chofu City, Hino City, Komae City, Tama City, and Inagi City). Utilizing the achievements of collaboration at the Tama Southern Adult Guardianship Center so far, the five cities and the Tama Southern Adult Guardianship Center are working together to promote rights protection support and improve the operational system of the adult guardianship system. In March 2020, we formulated and promoted the "Basic Plan for Promoting the Use of the Adult Guardianship System in Chofu City, Hino City, Komae City, Tama City, and Inagi City" (hereinafter referred to as the "Common Plan") as a common plan for the five cities. Additionally, while taking into account the contents of the Common Plan, we indicated the direction of the city's initiatives, and in March 2021, we formulated the "Basic Plan for Promoting the Use of the Adult Guardianship System in Inagi City" as an integral part of the Common Plan.

This plan is formulated in response to the expiration of the planning period for the "Basic Plan for Promoting the Use of the Adult Guardianship System in Inagi City" and the "Common Plan." It inherits the basic principles of the Common Plan, establishes a support system for the protection of rights in the city, and aims to operate the adult guardianship system in a way that users can experience its benefits.
