License plates are required for small special vehicles.

Small special vehicles such as ride-on tractors, combines, rice transplanters, forklifts, shovels and loaders are subject to light vehicle tax.
If you own a small special vehicle, please report it to the taxation section and receive a license plate number.
Please note that you will be taxed by owning it, regardless of whether you drive on the road or not.

Small special vehicles are classified as follows according to the provisions of the Road Vehicles Act.
1. Small special vehicles (for agricultural work and for riding)

• Types : Agricultural tractors designated by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, agricultural chemical spraying vehicles, reaping and threshing vehicles (combines), rice transplanters
• Maximum speed : less than 35 kilometers per hour

(Note) Vehicles with passenger equipment and a maximum speed of 35 kilometers per hour or more are classified as large special vehicles.
2. Small special motor vehicles (others)
